Leveraging iPads for Primary Instruction
Often in the primary classroom, the most frequent use of an iPad is either for testing or for the students to play games. Here are some practical apps that will actually allow students to learn phonics, decoding, fluency, sight word recognition, and other reading concepts, independently. Most of these apps are free or inexpensive, as well! This presentation will be practical and hands on.

ClassDojo is a classroom tool that helps teachers save time, boost classroom engagement, and improve student behavior.  ClassDojo lets you communicate student progress with parents and students.  It also allows teachers to track behavior with hassle-free behavior reports.  This session is a brief overview of this FREE classroom tool.
